Knowledge of human DNA has brought about a radical change in the diagnosis and prognosis of genetic diseases, such as cancer.

Genetic analyses have allowed us to accelerate the identification of individual genetic variants (genetic polymorphisms) associated with the increased risk of suffering a more or less rapid progression of cancer and the response to different treatments.

This makes it possible to provide a timely diagnosis and prognosis in order to be able to design a prevention strategy for each patient.
