Locoregional Anaesthesia Unit

We use imaging tools (ultrasound) to locate the nerves that are responsible for sensation in the areas of the body that will undergo intervention, allowing us to operate without the patient experiencing any pain. It also ensures that the patient will be in a comfortable condition during surgery, avoiding the need to use a general anaesthesia. This is common in trauma, orthopaedic, dermatological, aesthetic plastic, vascular and ophthalmic procedures, and it is used in all cases where it is warranted.
