What is physiotherapy?

Physical medicine and rehabilitation is a medical specialty aimed at evaluating, diagnosing, preventing and treating disabilities resulting from disease and accidents. All available methods (physical, medicinal, educational) are used with the goal of facilitating, maintaining or restoring the highest possible level of functional capacity and independence in order to improve quality of life.

Our Rehabilitation Service is a health resource dedicated to detecting, evaluating and treating possible musculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory deficits or disorders, as well as those affecting the nervous system, in outpatients or hospitalised patients who are likely to improve through our actions. This is the central focus of the correct treatment and improvement in these patients.
