HC Marbella’s gynaecology department offers a complete and detailed assessment of the woman’s health, ensuring patients are aware of their current status and providing them with personalised advice.
 
We offer a screening programme specifically for conditions affecting women, appropriate for each patient’s age and specific circumstances.
 
We emphasise the importance of periodic reviews for the early detection of certain diseases which when diagnosed in their initial stages have:

  • Less aggressive treatment
  • Less invasive surgery
  • A reduced impact on the patient’s quality of life.

 

We specialise in the prevention and early diagnosis of cancers of the breast, ovary, uterus, cervix and vagina.

What does a consultation include?

  • Complete examination of the breast and genital region
  • Cervical cytology and results
  • Vaginal swab
  • Transvaginal ultrasound
  • Colposcopy examination of the cervix, if your gynaecologist considers it appropriate
  • Referral for diagnostic imaging studies of the breast.
