Bases Immunological Cancer Day

Last Thursday, our oncologist Dr. Nicole Martín and our Hospital Pharmacist Tomás Arrazola, attended the Bases Immunological Cancer Day representing the oncology team HC Marbella.

The meeting, which took place in Cordoba and was organized by the Reina Sofia University Hospital and sponsored by Bristol-Myers Squibb, leading oncologists of Andalusia attended. Analyzed was the impact of Immune-Oncology in the treatment of cancer.

Immunotherapy is a before and after in the treatment of cancer, thanks to this great results are achieved in difficult tumors to treat such as advanced melanoma or small cell lung cancer of squamous histology, “giving outcomes of efficiency and survival rates previously unthinkable”.
